About the Role

This is a full-time video editing role at SMC TECH’s Haripur creative hub. You will edit and produce video content for our clients across the UK and Pakistan covering social media short-form content, brand and promotional videos, ad videos for Meta and Google, and motion graphics.

Video is the most powerful medium in digital marketing today, and the quality of your work directly impacts client results. We need an editor who is fast, creative, technically solid, and able to adapt their style to match different brands and audiences delivering polished, platform-ready content consistently.

What You'll Do

  • Edit short-form video content — Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts — optimised for engagement and reach
  • Produce brand and promotional videos that showcase client products, services, and stories
  • Edit and optimise ad video content for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google campaigns
  • Apply motion graphics, text animations, lower thirds, and transitions to elevate content quality
  • Colour grade all footage to a professional, broadcast-quality standard
  • Mix and sync audio — music, voiceover, sound effects — for a polished final output
  • Add accurate subtitles and captions to all videos for accessibility and platform performance
  • Work from client briefs provided by account managers, delivering to agreed timelines
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously across different client brands and styles
  • Export and deliver final files in all required formats and resolutions for each platform

What We're Looking For

  • Required
  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating social media content, branded video, and ad edits
  • Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and what makes video content perform on each platform
  • Experience with motion graphics and text animation — titles, lower thirds, transitions
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects without dropping quality
  • Professional colour grading and audio mixing skills
  • Strong communication skills, able to take feedback professionally and iterate quickly
  • Desirable
  • Experience creating content specifically for UK-based brands or international clients
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads and Google Ads video specifications and best practices
  • Basic graphic design skills for creating thumbnails or supporting visual assets
  • Experience with voiceover direction or on-set filming support
  • Understanding of digital marketing and how video content supports campaign performance
